Fantastic Story

I bought this book for my daughter who is eight, and I often read her books to see whether I think that they are worth the money. This one was fantastic. Zenda is very well written, and intriguing. I have bought and read the next two and I will give them to my daughter on special occasions. This book has very strong moral lessons that are experienced rather than taught. It is very clever. The first book is all about the folly of impatience. I hope you and your familyenjoy it too!

My Favorite Book Series

This book was fantastic! What first attracted me to this series was the incredibly creative and colorful cover art. I was also in the mood for magic, and figured this book would be the perfect thing to satisfy me. The first few chapters were okay, but it wasn't until the end of the book that I was hooked. The author is so descriptive, and makes Zenda's world so easy to imagine! Zenda, herself, is a typical awkward pre-teen trying to get through each day. She is kind, but tends to be impatient, which causes her much trouble during the story. This book introduces pretty much all of the main characters, and is a good start for a great series. I would recommend it to anyone who loves good books, loves magic, or who is a creative person.

Zenda

If you like magic, books that make you feel like you're actually in the story, stories about feelings and issues that happen in your life, or just want a good book, I would recommend this series! I know they say "Don't judge a book by it's cover", but that's what first attracted me to this book. At the time, I was looking for a book about magic and fairies. I saw this book and was amazed at the cover art, and decided it would be good for me. Although the book isn't about fairies, it's about magic, fun, personal struggles, and so much more! I've told all my close friends about this series, and wish so badly that they would read it, and get in on the fun. Zenda is a girl with power over plants, which can be a disadvantage at times. She's learning about her gazing ball, which all 12 and a half year olds receive on her planet. She becomes so excited about it, that she makes a bad descision and causes a lot of trouble for herself, and others around her! I'm now getting ready to buy the 5th book. A new one comes out every 2 months. I love this series, and am going to continue reading it for a long time! P.S. Please don't write reviews insulting other's reviews (Including mine), it's not nice.

If you like Harry Potter...

If you like Harry Potter then you will probably like Zenda. It's about a girl that lives on another planet and everyone on the planet has a special gift. (Doesn't sound like Harry yet?) Well she gets into situations that she needs to get out of, and learns a few lessons too. This book may actually teach the reader a few lessons too. When I read this book, I could hardly put it down. Then I read the 2nd book, and had to finish it ASAP and am looking forward to the 3rd book now. I encourage ANYONE to read these books, and ESPECIALLY my daughters.

My daughter read this book in one day!

This was a breakthrough book for my 9 year old daughter who loves fairies and is resistant to reading. We have tried many different books including those with similar subject matter (like the Fairy Realm series), but have never had a response like this. She read the second book in two days and is now going strong on an unrelated book.I didn't read it myself, and my quick perusal didn't turn up anything special about it, but we are sold. Bring on numbers three and four!
