This is so awesome!

I love this manga! Here are the main characters: Kiyo Kiyo is this genius who skips school because he thinks it couldn't teach him anything. He looks down upon everyone except his dad as an ignorant fool. EVERYONE. Zatch Zatch can't really think of a negative and he looks at everything positively. He doesn't really have any limits and can cause trouble everywhere. Zatch changes Kiyo's personality and helps him make friends. I am not giving you any spoilers to the manga. Read it yourself.

Arrival of the Electric Youth

Partner manga/anime series...since the arrival of Pokemon in the United States in 1998, we've been bombarded in all sorts of manga and anime about some normal main character partnered up with some special "thing" that helped them discover more about who they are. From well known shows like Digimon, Rockman.EXE/Megaman NT Warrior and Yu-Gi-Oh to ones more known to the otaku community like Gad Guard, Dragon Drive and Aquarian Age, there's always some sort of big partnership between humans and unearthly creatures, each with their own perspective and ideas on this sort of thing. And then there's "Zatch Bell"... In 2001, Shogakukan manga book "Shonen Sunday" (known currently for manga like "Detective Conan", "Flame of Recca" and "Inu Yasha"...well OK, all of the main shonen Rumiko Takahashi works) began a tale by semi-newbie manga writer Raiku Makoto (who at the time was slightly known on the monthly Shogakukan shonen book for a series called "New Town Heroes") about a partnership between a normal human and another creature from another world. But this tale, even from the beginning, was like many of the other stories of this genre...but not. The main character was a recluse genius boy named Kyomaro Takamine (also known in this country as "Kiyo", which I will use for the rest of this review since that's the name used in the manga being released here) who was really smart, but extremely anti-social. And the being that came into his life...well OK, crashed right through his window the moment they meet, was a small innocent boy with huge eyes and an excitable personality named "Gash Bell" (American name: Zatch Bell) Zatch's arrival was as a present from Kiyo's father for his birthday...but he wasn't the only thing that came. Along with Zatch came a mysterious Red Book which, when Kiyo said a word in anger, makes lightning shoot out of his mouth! Kiyo had no idea how the lightning emerged, while Zatch had no idea he could do something like that! And that's just the beginning of the setup that leads to the main premise at least at the start of the series: Kiyo trying do discover the mystery of Zatch and his Red Book while Zatch is just trying to help Kiyo out in making friends...and that's before all the other strange "children" start to appear The first volume of this manga, in a nutshell, pretty much starts setting up a lot of the basic ideas that go along in the series. We meet Zatch and Kiyo in this volume, as well as the infamous "squashbrain" Mizuno Suzume (Suzy) and a couple other characters that would be a slight spoiler for those who haven't read the manga or seen the anime before. (one hint: gravity) From the very beginning, you can easily see that there is a lot of potential in this series: Kiyo and Zatch grow a lot as the series progresses, so its interesting to see them at the beginning when they don't know as much as they do later on. While there is some action in this volume with what's going on, you may or may not be able to

Zatch Bell is the BEST!

If I could I would give it way more than 5 stars. This comic is so cool.It is about things called mamodos battling to become the mamodo king. I also recommend: Case Closed and One Piece
