Great Children's book you will love to read over and over

This is an excellent book by Dennis Kyte. It is the story of a mouse who is about to have his 6th birthday and when a mouse turns six he can become a "mouse soldier, brave and true". The problem is that this particular mouse, Zachary Raffles, is afraid of the dark! He is put through a series of tests and learns for himself, what everyone else already knows, he is brave, he only has to prove it to himself! Very well written. Descriptive, full of excitement, with a happy ending. One sure to become a favorite, you, and children of all ages will love to read over and over.
