Hilarious ultratechnoviolent nonsense

An inadvertently hilarious book about an ultraviolent team of commandos destroying a Nazi takeover of a small town called Ketchum. When you realise that the main Obergruppenfuhrer is called Deacon Johncock, it becomes difficult to take the story at all seriously. But the true connoisseur of literary awfulness will appreciate most the death and destruction scenes where the author combines a detailed specification of all the lethal equipment involved with the goriest imaginable descriptions of the consequences of its use. The most jaded sophisticate will find it a continuous joy when subtler amusements wane.
