I love this book. It gives you so much information on all types of novelty yarns and what type of projects to make with them. I would recommend this book to my friends and family anytime.

such a beautifully produced book!

There are so many knitting books out there its hard to know which one to choose. Well I definitely reccomend "Yummy Yarns." Ms. Ziegler and Mr. Greco do an excellent job presenting more than just the standard beginning knitting projects. The authors are so creative! I found that the instructions were very well written and easy to follow and I especially loved the layout. Great book! I love to knit! Thanks Yummy Yarns!

Fabulous!

I was given this book as a gift from a close friend after mentioning I'd like to start knitting. I've referenced many knitting books to guide me but have often found inspiration in this particular one. There are basic instructions both for learning how to knit and numerous different stitches, as well as pictures. This book is an excellent reference for almost any piece of knitting and I enjoy trying out the different stitches by making scarves and adorable little tops. I would recommend this book as a great reference to have in any knitter's collection.

Perfectly fantastic for a new or "older" knitter

I had been away from knitting for so many years and was happy to become re-interested with this book. I had forgotten many details and once again found myself making gifts for friends and family. I knitted several scarves for giftgiving and was happy to see so many happy recipients. The instructions were easy to follow and the new yarns created the latest in fashion. I have not tried the "jelly" and many other novelty yarns but was happy to learn about them through this book. Loved having such a guide to "Yummy Yarns". I will continue to buy her wonderful instructional guides.

Learn to knit with AMAZING novelty yarns! New and creative!

As a beginner knitter, I was happy to find "Yummy Yarns". The project patterns with novelty yarns are very cool and wearable. This is the first book I found that discusses novelty yarns in categories including eyelash, fur, metallic fuzz and a hot new yarn called jelly yarn! The authors make learning to knit fun and easy as they explain the ins-and-outs of knitting with these brilliant specialty yarns. Really clear step-by-step color photographs improved my knitting skills; knitting, purling, and especially increasing, decreasing and binding off. "Yummy Yarns" will inspire you to begin knitting beautiful yummy scarves, purses, tops, sweaters with colorful forgiving novelty yarns.
