A ROAR OF A BOOK!!

Hey! i never thought this book would be listed here and then again... WHY NOT? this book is full of adventure and absolute riot. its meant to tickle your funny bone and it does that and more... i read this book about 10 yrs ago and believe me there are some scenes and sentences which can still make me laugh and smile... all book lovers please do yourselves a favour.... go grab your copy and bless me!!!

Fun, uplifting, adventure packed yukon fiction

I read this book for the first time more than 15 years ago (in its Danish translation) and I have read it annually ever since - it continues to be my favorite book. It reads well, the main characters are well described and believable. The book is packed with great humour and it qualifies as one of those books you just look forward to reading

Great rollocking adventure

A book I read fifteen years ago, but one of the few that stayed with me. Set in the days of the Yukon gold rush, it's a can't put it down fun adventure by a master storyteller. Thank god it's still in print!
