Great children's read aloud.

A hysterically funny book about the witch Emma (about whom James Stevenson has written various other books) and her struggles to prove to the other witches that she is not a complete failure as a witch. In this book she and her friends manage to disgust even the meanest of the other witches while creating a "potion" full of all sorts of disgustingly amusing ingredients. The story ends with a delightful twist, and is a really fun book to read aloud to children.
