Nuggets of help

In our youth ministry, we are trying to lead by example, not merely by instruction. Because this book is basically about relational training, I was greatly helped in my approach to leading youth. There are chapters about cell meetings, the benefits of them, and how to empower youth to lead these cell meetings. Honestly, the book is a little disjointed. The chapters don't really flow well together, often jumping clear from one subject to the other. Nonetheless, there are "nuggets of help" for youth ministry to be found in each chapter. It has been written by experienced youth leaders who tell us clearly at the beginning, "Glean what you can from this book, but make sure you adapt it to fit your unique needs as you follow the leading of the Holy Spirit." A great book for you if you're looking to build this kind of a personal youth ministry. If, on the other hand, you want to build a large, city wide, modern ministry, it probably is not what you require.
