Noelle Nelson shows women how to re-discover the good qualities of their guys and thereby improve their marriages and relationships. This description may be from another edition of this product.
There's a ton of relationship books out there, but YMIW comes at it from a whole different angle. Not what's wrong with you, what's wrong with him, but a lot about what's right with you, what's right with him, and how to make it work so you get good together. It's got a bunch of stories from women in great relationships talking about how they got there, and how they stay there. Much to my surprise, the gals credit their men a lot for helping them learn what it takes to make a relationship work. For me, being happy together is what it's all about. I'm a down to earth kinda guy, and there's a practical day to day "how to work it" at the back of each chapter I liked. It's a terrific book - I highly recommend it.
It works!

"When I saw this book at a friend's, I took one look at the title and thought "You gotta be kidding." My friend said it really helped her in her marriage and I'm still "Yeah, right." But when my boyfriend and I got to fighting all the time, I remembered her saying that and got the book. Anyway, I did the 35 day challenge it talks about and we're hardly fighting at all any more. It's like we're back to where we were when we were first dating. The Chapter that did it for me was Chapter 3 where it talks about how guys' brains are wired differently and how to use that knowledge to get along better. Plus there's a lot of other good stuff. I say - get the book, it'll make your relationship way better."
A real "Love-Saver" for troubled relationships

My marriage was in the dumper and I was one foot out the door, dragging the other foot because once upon a time, like only a few years ago, we were so good together. I decided to give it one last go before yanking the other foot and bought a bunch of books on marriage. The only one that did me any good was "Your Man Is Wonderful" - which isn't about marriage as much as it is about making love last, and how to repair it when it goes wrong. It took some doing, and it didn't happen overnight, but using what I learned in this book we put our marriage back together. Our love is back. That's worth everything. If your relationship is in trouble - get this book! It's a love-saver.
Relationship Lubricant

What I really appreciated about this book was that it focused in a positive way on what men and women have in common plus helps you appreciate the differences instead of creating a negative focus on the differences that are often what spark friction between couples. It's insightful and really helps you to stay on track with what works, which then helps create a much better environment to work on the things that need improving.
I was excited to see Dr. Noelle had a new book!

What a great idea. This made so much sense to me. It helped me put into perspective some things I get annoyed at that tend to create friction between my husband and I. To be honest, I don't like myself when I get that way. Who cares if he folds the towels into halves instead of thirds! He folds towels!! How important is it if he likes to do the dishes in the morning instead of right after dinner. He's doing the dishes for me, and I really appreciate it. And the book helped me not take these things for granted, amoung other helpful insights which I don't have room for here. Plus, I don't want to spoil your own aha! moments. If you're looking to make your relationship better, or getting prepared for the next one . . . buy this book!
