Mr. Gale keeps it simple and he's very funny. This book is easy to read and the ideas are one most practical approaches to parenting I've ever read. The implementation of Mr. Gale's parenting program is thoughtful, respectful and teaches everyone that responsibility and authority are necessary to a balance any families home. This book could potentially help many families create a secure and happy home. I highly recommend this book as a great tool to improve communication and harmony in any one's home.

Should be required reading for all parents

Where was this book eight years ago when my first daughter was born? Parents, I strongly recommend taking the money you might spend on useless "psycho-babble" written by Ph.D.'s and buy this "hands on" book from a gentleman who appears to have graduated "Magna Cum Laude" from USC - The University of Successful Child-rearing. Mr. Gale has extracted the essence of parenting and incorporated it into an entertaining and easy to follow parent manual. Since we adopted our own Family Constitution, my kids have tackled their chores without complaints and the time we spend together has become much more rewarding. I highly recommend it to all parents.

If you are a parent, you should read this book!

I found this to be a common sense approach to eliminating the daily trials of family life. The Family Constitution allows each family member to know what is expected of him/her and provides a path to a more fullfilling family experience. The process was fun and the results are priceless.
