A Very Helpful Introduction

In Your Altar, Kynes gives examples and suggestions for altar setups that might lend themselves to meditation for someone exploring their use in meditation and prayer. She draws upon many traditions, including feng shui, buddhism, christianity, celtic religion, egyptian mythology, and neopaganism. The chapters are themed around the number of parts to the altar setup and depend largely on numerology. Not only was the book practical, but the appendix about the history of altars was interesting as well.
