Adriel Jamil hails from the bustling Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. His love of literature was formed in an early appreciation of novels and song lyrics, both of which he collected and dissected. This passion for words was then honed and redirected towards the poetic persuasion by Queen's Royal College, a well-known crucible for outstanding minds such as Dr. Eric Williams the Nobel Laureate V.S. Naipaul. His forward attitude has shown him much more of his nation at the age of 23 than most, and it is this intimate and shifting view of life in the tropics his work studies.
