Improved part of the series

Unlike the book in this series on Aztec Sacrifice, this one is done in an informative and entertaining way and is recommended for young children. It handles the subject well to stimulate the curiosity of the young. The other titles in this series vary, but are probably more like this one instead of the book on Aztec Sacrifice.

You Wouldn't Want to Miss This Series

We love this series, and Pyramid Builder was as fun and fascinating as the others we've read! There is lots of great info about ancient Egyptian society and daily life, as well as info about pyramids. The "icky" facts (mummification, accidents, disease, etc.) are served up with enough cartoonish humor to allow little kids to enjoy these books without being frightened. And it's a great introduction to an ancient Egypt unit study for older kids. This is one of our favorites in the series.

Great Learning Book

This is a great book for students to learn about what it means to be a slave in Ancient Egypt. My brothers and my third graders are enthralled with the information that they learn in these pages. It is a fun book that makes the reader a part of the learning by making him/her part of the story. The pictures are very discriptive. From this book they want to learn more about the Egyptians.
