I came to write my own review of this book and was horrified to read the Australian gentleman's diatribe, which I hope will shortly be lost amidst a sea of more appropriate glowing praise. Of course you have to be in the right frame of mind for You Need This Book to help you - the authors are hardly going to materialise out of your Kindle like a genie from a bottle and frogmarch you off to a clinic. What you get is an artful plan. Prepare to be a metaphorical onion: your layers will be peeled and with astonishing results. The positive suggestions in this book carried on ages after I finished it. Truth is, I don't expect those positive suggestions ever to leave me. So would it then be extravagant to claim that this book changed my life for the better? So be it - I make that claim! In fact this is the first page-turner of a self-help book I've ever picked up. It is probably the first I've actually finished, not drifted away from ... Truly, I found it compelling reading. This book is good fun as well as useful - it manages to be serious and entertaining at the same time. As it winds to a close the magic becomes apparent. I still recall with a thrill how it all clicked into place. Yes, a magical spell at work. Benign, gentle, utterly warm. Go with it, allow it to do its stuff. You won't regret it.
