A must read: Wonderful

I have been a devoted reader of leadership and self-motivational books for two decades. This book is by far one of my most treasured reads. Joe Grano's rags-to-riches rise is a true testament to the power of the human mind and the ability to overcome any debilitating obstacle. I have garnered such an incredible amount of life-changing wisdom from this bio and from Joe's pragmatic approach to life and leadership that I have insisted on giving copies to all those I love. I cannot fathom anyone in a leadership position: be it head of the cub scouts, fire chief, superintendent or our government officials who could not glean a vast amount of knowledge from his sage advice and to remind us all that great leadership is a gift. Joe Grano epitomizes what our leaders today should be striving to model; Leadership with Integrity. Excellent!!!!!!!! (Should become a biopic.)

You Can't Predict a Hero is jam packed with incredible life stories from his personal, professional and military experiences. Along with these anecdotes he offers sage advice on a range of pertinent subjects. Mr. Grano is truly the poster child for the American dream and demonstrates that with tireless determination, proper core values and a little luck, the impossible becomes possible.

An Amazing Surprise

I have a large palette when it comes to what I read, and on first look, the story of a Wall Street broker is not something I would usually place high on my list as a "must read". At the urging of a family member whose advice when it comes to good books is top rate, I picked up this one. I absolutely loved it. It is one of the most compelling true stories I've read quite some time and it is wonderfully written. Getting to know Mr. Grano and his accomplishments in the face of diverse and sometimes harrowing challenges is one of the most compelling human stories I've read in some time. The book is both inspirational and educational, one I will keep in my library and refer to when needed. Thank you Mr. Grano.
