From New York Times bestselling author Ann Rule comes a riveting true crime story of Florida highway patrolman Tim Harris and his chilling crimes. In You Belong to Me , Ann Rule fixes her unsparing professional gaze on one of Florida's most shocking criminal cases--that of Tim Harris, a poster-perfect all-American Florida State Trooper who hid bizarre and fatal fantasies behind his badge--plus other incredible true crime cases from her personal files. Mesmerizing us with her masterful exploration of the personalities and backgrounds of the criminals and their families, and the circumstances surrounding each crime, Rule again proves that she is the "undisputed master crime writer of the eighties and nineties" (John Saul).
You are going to love ANN RULE, after reading this book. I highly recommend it.

Now this is my kind of book, a bunch of true stories in one book! Well, six stories to be exact. One really loooooong one and the the others quite a bit shorter. But they are more to the point and didn't seem to be missing any pertinent information. If you want to get a taste of Anne Rule and what she's "like" this is a good book to start.
My Favorite Ann Rule Book....

next to the Stranger Beside Me. A thrilling and bizarre ride through the demise of a truly sick highway patrol officer. The story of Tim Harris is so compelling precisely because he seems to be the last person you would expect to commit this type of crime. My only rant is that there is precious little delving into exactly what caused the man to turn so bad.
This collection held my attention until the very last story!

A friend turned me on to Ann Rule's books. This was my first book of hers. I could not put it down! I've got friends waiting to borrow the book when I am finished. The stories are easy to read, astonishing and bone-chillingly true! I'm hooked!! The stories describe seemingly normal people that have very dark sides. This collection of stories has definately opened my eyes to the nature of the human beast. My heart goes out to the victim(s) and their families. I hope Ann keeps cranking the books out because I intend to read every one of them!!
Heart pounding and Spell binding, Hard to put down!!!
