A must have for congregations and Jewish communal professionals

This book may be small in size, but its value is tremendous. It is overflowing with wisdom and words of comfort. As a social work student working with victims and survivors of abuse I referenced this book. This book also brought solace to an entire congregation that was shattered by one congregant's horrific act of abuse. For this reason, I believe that all synagogues and temples, as well as social workers, advocates, and educators working with the Jewish community, must own this book. Without a doubt, this book is one of the finest resources available to the many Jewish domestic violence survivors that the Jewish community all too often tries to ignore.
