A Prayer Answered

Two weeks after my cancer diagnosis, while awaiting my surgery, my pastor shared "You Are Never Alone" with me. I was extremely anxious about the pre-surgical waiting period and being wheeled into surgery. While paging through the book, I found the prayer and meditation "In the Surgical Holding Area". One of my prayers had already been answered. The book accompanied me to the hospital and has been an inspirational prayer guide for me in the weeks since my surgery. Additionaly there is a resource section of groups of people who accept prayer intentions. Maureen Murray writes in an authentic conversational style that is both moving and heartfelt. Her book fills a need facing many people.
