I recommend Yoga: The Secret

I enjoyed reading Yoga: The Secret, by Danny Living, very much. This book put into words so much that I have intuited over the years. Although it is a small book, I think Yoga: The Secret, is one of the most important yoga books that has been written in modern times. I always recommend the Secret of Yoga at all of my yoga workshops. David Williams 37 years daily Ashtanga yoga practice

The Secret Unveils

This is a book of a true yogi! Everything we question about the practice is described from the heart and in such a way that I definitely want all my yoga students to read it. This the FIRST yoga book that I have read where the emphasis is mostly on the internal issues (such as bandhas, nauli, pranayama and drishti) instead of the external matters (asanas). Who cares what we look like in an asana as long as we get the energy to flow upward to liquidate the tensions?! Thank you, Danny, for sharing your practice with us!

A Secret Gem

I really liked this book. It is about a regular guy who really did change his life by changing his thinking. The book was easy to read and easy to understand for a new Yogi and yet interesting for a more experienced Yogi. I hope this is his first book of a series about an evolving life.

inspiring book and not just about Yoga

this is a book about a man who uses a bad experience (a car accident) to change his life for the better. initially a skeptic, he uses a yoga video and the power of positive thinking to change the way he looks at life and challenges his readers to do the same. life is not only what you make of it, it's how you think about it or as he states in the book "What matters is what you say to you.". the book does have a wealth of info and diagrams on Ashtanga yoga including some very unique yoga practices such as using a Neti pot. i especially enjoyed the story of how a few kind words from his teacher in grade school ultimately made the book possible. overall a very good read and highly recommended.
