Good clean fun

Very cute, fun read. Since the book is in many characters perspectives, I think everyone can relate to at least one of them. At the end, you can't help but feel happy. I'm excited to read the sequel.

Wonderful new young adult novel by a talented new writer!

I had the privilege and honor to read "Yearbook" before it was available in stores, and enjoyed every minute I spent reading it! As a published LDS young adult novelist myself, I was amazed at Allyson's incredible skill and talent. The book follows many characters, both students and adults, yet she created and weaved their stories together so well that she made it look easy! I was definitely impressed at how wonderful and well-written this novel is. It's hard for me to believe it's her first novel! The dialogue is "true teen talk," and the story lines for each character are creative, yet at the same time, very true to life. Allyson is definitely an author to follow and read. I loved this book, and am looking forward to Book 2 in the trilogy! I hope it's going to be coming out soon! :)

A Wonderful Book

I loved this book, and so did my high school age daughter. The "About the Author" info says Condie is a former high school teacher and that comes through in the writing. My daughter and her cross-country-running friends all agreed the characters and dialogue were believable and the story a page-turner. A wholesome and engaging read for young adults--and parents! P. A New Favorite

I enjoy books that focus on young adults, without patronizing the reader. Until now Tom Wolfe's I am Charlotte Simmons was at the top of my list. After reading Yearbook I have a new favorite. This book was a fascinating and accurate depiction of what life is like today for virtually all high school kids, even for many who are not LDS. The dialogue rang true throughout the book. The characters were interesting and you find yourself genuinely caring about what happens with them. I really cannot say enough good things about it.

Absolutely Wonderful!

When I started reading this book, I was immediately caught up in the lives of the characters. I loved the romances, was saddened by the struggles, and related to the hardships of not only being a teenager once, but a mother now. I was so impressed with the author and her ability to be humorous and spiritual, and to flow between the two of them so effortlessly. I found myself laughing out loud sometimes and crying other times. I thought this was a wonderful book and have recommended it many people of all ages. I even sent a copy to my teenage niece. I highly recommend this book! You won't be able to put it down!
