Despite the passing of 20 years, this collection of photos and essays takes the reader to New England to experience its charm. Each chapter features a different region and aspect. There's the potato harvest in Aroostook County, Maine. There's street life in Boston's North End. There's farm life in Strafford, Vermont and lake living at Squam Lakes, NH. The photos are gorgeous. The writing originally appeared in Yankee Magazine. A good book to savor the New England life style.
