There needs to be more of Yagi then this one shot.

While all goats love to eat paper, Yagi is a goat with a special talent who can taste the flavors of what's written on paper. With this extraordinary talent, Yagi dreams of working as a bookseller, but sadly because of his species, no bookstores would hire him. Except the kind wolf manager Ookami, who took a chance on the sweet goat, and overtime working together, both develop feelings for one another. Will both be able to resist their natural instincts, (and feelings,) and keep their paws off the merchandise?
I am in love with practically everything about this book! The characters are all adorable especially their facial expressions and occasional chibiness throughout. The art is gorgeous! I love how everything is simply defined until it isn't, those places then pop when more details are given, really bringing out the emotions of the characters.
The characters themselves are sweet and innocent little things. There is a little spice, hence the mature rating, but it's not very graphic and things are done in a sweet and tastefully way since the story bends more towards the emotions of the characters.
There is one thing though, the book does not expressly say how old Yagi is, I'd assume at least 18 since he moved out of his parents' house into a totally different town. But when Yagi was very little Ookami was a teenager, so there is a bit of an age difference. However, I don't see where problems of that age difference come in since everything is handled very delicately, but I felt it should be noted.
My only true complaint is that this series is only one volume long! I need more Yagi the Bookshop Goat in my life. I highly recommend this to any BL lovers out there, or someone who is wanting to dip their toe in the world of BL.
