Best novel I've seen since Clancy's 'Search for Red October'

I hope this new author will consider writing more novels of this genre. I couldn't stop reading!

I couldn't put it down!

Thor Iverson's "Y2K Countdown To Launch" is a smartly paced race against the clock to prevent the millenium bug from launching the millenium bomb. Iverson's clean writing style, plausible plot line, dashing American hero and winsome Russian assistant all make for a classic spy saga, but it is in the deftly drawn second-tier characters, like Vladimir Illyitch Gomanov, the fallen head of the Ukranian nuclear launch program, that Iverson shows his hand as a writer of some promise. A thoroughly enjoyable read!
