Exciting and Intriguing Read!

The beliefs of two clutures clash in battles of wit and courage. The main character, Frank Camas, loses his family in an avalanche on a treacherous Idaho mountain road. His wife and daughter buried under tons of snow, all clues or evidence is obscured. Wild with grief, Frank searches for an answer through his job as a local game warden. Ancient Finnish families and Native Americans and their secret traditions and ways "muddy" the waters as his search takes him among the richest and the poorest in the remote mountain village where he lives. A butchered Elk leads him down paths never dreamed.Many twists and turns in this book made it hard to put down. Though I am a fast reader, I found myself re-reading after being forced to put the book down, so I would not miss any tiny clue!Mysterious and chilling, the ending will shock and surpise you! My kind of book!
