Great guide to personal transformation

Like many people, I have a journal. Sometimes I write in it every day. Other times I ignore it for six months. This book gave me a lot of ideas on USING the journal for more than just recording daily events. It has lots of suggestions on how to start a journey of self-discovery. I would recommend it to newcomers to journaling as well as to folks like myself, who have journaled, but want to get more out of it. It is guiding me to discover who I really am--and to become who I am meant to be.

Everything about this book invites you to journal.

Ms. Borkin has done an outstanding job of bringing incredible clarity of thought and a light touch to help the reader learn the joys of using a journal for personal growth. It is easy to read. The format is simple and clear. The beginning journal writer will find all the essentials of writing for self-discovery. The experienced journal writer will find several new methods which will take them to deeper levels of self-understanding. I found this book packed full of new ideas for writing that lead to powerful insights and the release of blocked energy. I was stimulated to return to journal writing for myself. As a psychotherapist, I highly recommend this book to my clients.
