Hello. The LIBRARY JOURNAL review you have for WRISTWATCHES: A CONNOISSEUR'S GUIDE is botched. You're including review information for some book on jewelry. Please do something about this, pronto. Thanks! Ken Goldberg
Good Overview

This is a good overview of watch history and availability. Highlighted are 55 of the major collectible watch companies with good photo selections from each. The detailed pages on the companies is good and informative. Not bad for the coffee table, either.
Well-done, but lacking in insight.

A well thought out survey of top-notch timepieces, but lacks the knowlege and insight a collector would look for. The glossary section could use some substantial expansion, providing readers with a better understanding of what makes good watches great.
Great book: comprehensive and interesting

Covers 55 watch brands, from Audemars Piguet to Zodiac. Even Citizen, Seiko, and Timex. Not just pictures of watches, but a bit of history of the company and a summary of the watch line. Absolutely fascinating to thumb through, and a great guide to anyone who's decided to take watches seriously and needs a place to start.
Comprehensive guide to all major watch brands..history, product range, flagship models. ..are all described with plenty of photos. The evolution of the wristwatch from invention to the modern day solar, kinetic and radio controlled models are portrayed. Fascinating...A Must Have!!
