PAINTINGS SLASHED. . . FURNITURE BROKEN . . . SOMEONE IS WREAKING HAVOC AT THE BLUE MOON ART & ANTIQUES GALLERY. Fledgling private investigator Karen Maxwell goes undercover as a salesclerk to find... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Karon is back, but this time her relationship with her kids is more serious, though very much real. She is continuing her relationship with Brian, but he is being less then attentive to her needs. We find out very little new information about him, and even though his Christian walk is strong, it's leading Karon to uncertainty about faith and the direction of her own life, and whether Brian should be in it. Then there is the new case: difficult and rushed with so many suspects. Karon's life is in chaos, but she is determined to hold onto the reins. Worth It's Weight In Old is an easy, enjoyable read, great for snuggling up with on a chilly fall evening. I'm very much looking forward to reading the next Karon Maxwell mystery! I've enjoyed both books and am intrigued to find out more about Karon, her family, and her relationship with Brian.
