Excellent reads - both are worth a thousand words!

I just finished reading both "The Someday List" and "Worth a thousand words" and they were both enlightening! I loved the characters and how Ms. Adams speaks to the reader in the situations that a character faces. She included some great advice for marriages, for those who want to give their lives to the Lord and those who were true believers in what God can and will do if they have faith. Indigo truly listened to what God was putting on her heart, and followed it. She dealt with a lot over the summer but grew from it immensely. Thank you so much for such inspirational reads and I am waiting anxiously for the next one in the "Jubilant Soul" series! Keep up the good work and may God continue to bless you!

Worth a Thousand Words

This book is Worth a Thousand Words. It is really great. I loved every word printed.

She's Done It Again!

As usual, Stacy authored an exceptional story with interesting and real-to-life characters. Without giving the storyline away, the issues she presented are difficulties that many people face today, and she facilely demonstrated how these complexities can be resolved. That is to say, as a woman of faith, I love how she used the voice of God and Scripture throughout the plot for guidance, resolution, and comfort. Also, I like the way the author included characters from her first installment in the Jubilant series into this book. With that said, I am very curious as to how the next book will unfold, and I eagerly look forward to it. Last, I read "Worth a Thousand Words" in one day because I couldn't wait to see how it would end! Simply stated, I just couldn't put it down!

Life at a crossroad?

Indigo just graduated from college with honors and has been accepted into grad school in the Fall. She has big dreams and a bright future ahead of her. Her handsome fiancé has dreams of his own; he's working to be a Navy fighter pilot. Can they both pursue their personal dreams hundreds of miles apart and still be together? They find the road to fulfilling one's goals is not always a straight one, even when love should seem to carve a path. Unexpected things happen and decisions have to be made by all the characters. I enjoyed this book because I think we live in uncertain times. Many of us know people who are wrestling with decisions they never thought they'd have to make about their finances, families and careers, so it's timely. Stacy Hawkins Adams has done a wonderful job at bringing that reality home. The lessons of hope and faith are not wasted in this beautifully written, inspiring novel. Like The Someday List, it's an absolute must read.

The best laid plans...

Being a professional photographer is Indigo Burns lifelong dream, and she is well on her way to making that dream a reality. But when she is diagnosed with a life changing medical issue, and faced with other family crises, Indigo's dreams are put on hold. To say that Indigo is frustrated is putting it mildly. Yet, all the setbacks make her realize that her plans aren't necessarily her plans. And if they were, they will only happen in His time -- His way. Worth a Thousand Words is an excellent read, and one of the best books I've read so far this year. One theme that resonates throughout the book is that there is a blessing in both the good and the bad situations that occur in our lives. I actually cried while reading this novel because I could personally relate to the pain of each character. My heart was pricked and my faith and hope in God became stronger with each page I read. Stacy Hawkins Adams has quickly become a literary force to be reckoned with in the Christian fiction genre. Each of her works are insightful, timely and deliver a powerful message. Anyone who picks up a copy of this novel is sure to be inspired, encouraged and uplifted. ~~Renee Williams, a freelance reviewer at All the Buzz, is the CEO of Literary Signature Services, an event planning business specializing in literary gifts and events for authors, as well as the promotional assistant for [...]
