What a fantastic text for studying ancient cultures! Ok, I'm a 6th grade teacher, but I could just sit and read this for hours. We kept these old books after our school bought a brand new series, and we use them much more than the new ones. Ancient history doesn't change much so why switch when you already have a great text? I have personally purchased 10 used copies to supplement the school's supply. Well worth a look...
