You hurt today. You may have been hurting your entire life. Most likely you will be hurting tomorrow as well. For some, the pain will continue for days, weeks, and maybe even months.
One thing that we know about pain - regardless of what is causing it, a death, a heartbreak, a trauma, is that it must honored.
So take the time to honor the pain. No matter the cause - divorce, separation, death, heartache, loss of a job, dealing with childhood issues or addiction - it all hurts. Get to understand yourself in the middle of it. Take time to reflect and use the words you know to release it from your body. Take time for yourself to figure out how to deal each day with the way that you are feeling. It is time to start being intentional and using your words to respond to the prompts of daily reflections, meditations, or trait reflection.
Remember that you do not have to explain yourself to anyone and you are not on a timetable to heal. When you get there, you will know it.
This journal was created to help you walk through this period of your life. Each page has dot grids - which allows for freedom in writing and drawing and doodling. There is also space to record a prompt or meditation and then space to reflect.
