A Environmental Historical Account You Must Read!

Working for Wildlife by Janet Foster is a compelling account of the dedicated efforts of early Canadian civil servants who sought to preserve and secure Canadian wildlife. Foster uses substantial amounts of sources (e.g. early travel journals to past government documents) which only aids to the overall aim of this book: wildlife consiciousness and preservation in Canada needs to continue. This book is a must for those interested in Canada's environmental history or in current preservation efforts! It is a wonderful historical narrative that is complimented with interesting illustrations.I normally wouldn't give anything "5 stars", but I truly enjoyed Foster's book.
