A book I'll actually keep!

I loved this book because it not only had jobsearch information, but had great recommendations on how to advance my career and succeed on the job. It's one of the few career books I'll actually keep around to use as a reference down the road. It has a very unique perspective, is very detailed, and gives real advice I'd actually follow.

This book is a great resource and a natural follow-up to Women For Hire's ` The Ultimate Guide to Getting a Job'! Two years ago, after hearing about it through the Women For Hire Career Fair that my daughter attended as a college senior, I purchased the first book for my daughter, my daughter's friends, and my friends' daughters. It was a highly readable, enjoyable & PRODUCTIVE step by step guide to finding a job. Now that they've all successfully entered the workforce, this new book takes it to the next level, with further tips, advice & inspiration on setting & achieving long-term career goals, as well as dealing with the ups & downs of any job! Again, WFH gives clear, concrete steps to take - with anecdotes & examples - to advance your career. I'll be getting copies of this one, too, for everyone I know!
