I found out things i never new before, if you are in to alot of sex talk and sex you will enjoy this book.

Dakota Cassidy keeps me laughing and charmed.

Every Dakota Cassidy book I have read, I have loved. Wolf Mates was a classic. The characters are so offbeat and at the same time sexy, charming, sweet, and everything in between. The humor is paced well and anyone would enjoy it. I read it in one morning because I couldn't wait to see how the next couple worked out. Just shows that it takes work to keep any family thriving and happy - even a paranormal one with multiple breeds thrown together can find their HEA's if they work for it and trust each other. It's GREAT!

Funny, Hot & Furry!

When your hear someone say "The Adams Family" you immediately think about Gomez and his quite unusual/macabre family. The Adams Family featured in Wolf Mates is also quite unusual, albeit very much different. An American Werewolf in Hoboken Max Adams, an alpha werewolf, is now in Hoboken in search of his lifemate, a year after grandmother`s vision from a bowl of chicken soup. He ends up in the pound and luckily for him, JC shows up and decided then and there to adopt him. Next day JC sees her neighbour, Max, moving in. They have dinner and talk about her new pet. Max then takes JC home to see his family. Will JC accept Max? What's New Pussycat After another one of grandma's visions it's Derrick's turn, the beta and brother of Max. Sent to Jersey to pick up a blue container, but what's up with its contents? It tries to scratch, meows and coughed up a hairball!! Moon over Manhasset Julia Lawrence, cousin to Max & Derrick, lives in Manhasset as a she-wolf, erm designer for her doggie boutique and makes tons of money. Xavier Wolf of Pride Investments is here to advise Julia to invest. At an upsetting meeting Xavier's tail appears. It's not werewolf, and why does Julia not freak out? Ruff & Ready Emerson Palmer is living with the Adams, because her own pack is too straight laced. She is protesting against Lassiter Adams' plans for a piece of Adams land he has bought. Who is Lassiter Adams and what are his plans? During reading it made me laugh and cheer for The Adams Family, and their funny way of talking, courtesy of writer Dakota Cassidy. I especially liked Derrick's story, the interaction between him and Martine is a screamer LOL.

Hot and Humorous!

Do you like your romances paranormal, humorous and hot? Do you like your heroes to be sexy, strong and not too dark? Like your females leads to be smart, independent but still a little vulnerable? If you do, you'll enjoy Wolf Mates, a collection of previously published ebooks from Dakota Cassidy. This book contains 4 stories that while could stand alone, flow better when read in order, as the characters are all linked by the common thread that is the Adams Family. The stories are: An American Werewolf in Hoboken, Whats New Pussycat?, Moon Over Manhasset & Ruff & Ready. If you are used to the more "serious" werewolf stories about alphas who rule the pack, this will be a refreshing change. While I love the aforementioned werewolf/paranormal style as well, this collection is a more light hearted approach with lots of laugh out loud humor. The internal dialogue of the characters is at time so funny, I found myself laughing so hard I was crying. The sex scenes are hot and all the characters are likeable. Whoever heard of a vegetarian werewolf? For those who need to read something deeper into their stories, there is also the underlying theme of acceptance: we will love who we love--be it family, friends or lovers. Our preconceived notions of what makes a person the "perfect" mate or what constitutes "family" go out the door when the heart is involved. This is my first experience with the stories of Dakota Cassidy, and I am heading out to the bookstore today to see what else I can find. I love paranormal romances, I love it when they are a little bit hotter than the average romance and I really love it when a book engages me so much that I feel like I have experienced a bit of escapism right on my livingroom couch. I'm not a professional reviewer, and I can't tell you if sentence structure is correct, but I can tell you that I had a ball reading this book, and it now sits on my keeper shelf--and these days, there aren't a lot that do.

Four great stories by Dakota Cassidy!

This book include four stories from Dakota Cassidy's fantastic Wolf Mates series from Changeling Press. The first is An American Werewolf in Hoboken (love the title! LOL) about JC who's a hairdresser in NJ and the 'dog' she picks up from the pound. It's LOL funny and very hot! Next up is What's New Pussycat? - It's the story of Derrick Adams (the brother of the hero from American Werewolf) and how he finds and fall for his lifemate, Martine, who happens to be a cat. :-) Third is the story of Julia, an Adams cousin and her mate to be, Xavier Wolf...who's not exactly a wolf! The last story is Lassiter Adams (he's not exactly a wolf either!) and Emerson Palmer, who's an activist fighting against him...but not for long. All very funny, steamy and terrrific!
