Book Overview

The press has been filled with information and misinformation about the true nature of Islam. Hasan represents what is left out of the daily newspapers and explains why being a Muslim is not merely a matter of birth, but it is a matter of choice. In the wake of 9-11, the activities of Osama Bin Laden and Hamas, and the most recent Gulf War, the western press has been filled with information and mis-information about the true nature of Islam. Is it...

When he seems too good to be true…

This poor gal went through the wringer but she sure got her own back with this. What a huge let down and disappointment Scott was. She built him up in her own mind so much, and fell for his narcissistic love bombing 100%. Amber takes us through her brief history and then a look at how she met Scott and fell for him. She pushed the relationship, it seems, wanting to promote them as a couple by only their third date and of course sending their photo to everyone she knew which resulted in her friend noticing that this is the guy from Modesto whose wife is missing. It was only days after Laci disappeared that Amber found out about Scott and was on the phone to the police, and then recording her numerous calls with Scott. What an idiot he was to stay in touch, talking way too much; watching the little dance between them, leading him closer to his doom, is not a pleasant read. You get the feeling Amber was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and hang on to him til the last minute. Rather painful that the real crime in her eyes is his lying to her and cheating- rather than the death and disappearance of his wife. Both Scott and Modesto Police used Amber with no regard for her feelings or well being, and it’s sad but fascinating as well. Right or wrong those tapes made everyone who heard them more likely to convict Scott not just for cheating but for being such a smarmy liar and pretentious a**hole. At least Amber had the good sense to cut ties with Scott unlike the red -headed nitwit juror who is the reason Scott got his death penalty reversed and may get a new trial. Amber might not be the reason Scott killed his wife but she is certainly a major part of the reason he is in prison today. This is the story of exactly how that happened, from her perspective.

Compelling Read

Amazing how this book kept me interested from the beginning to the end, despite the fact that I knew so much about the case. Not only that this book proved Scott's guilt, but it is also a story of a young, beautiful woman's struggle from childhood to this very scandal. She was vulnerable, yet strong. But in the end she rose above it all. However, I was deeply saddened to see the lack of support from her stepsister and the loss of friends (such as Paul) because they want to take advantage of her at the time she needed them the most. There are lots of lesson to learn from her personal mistake...one of which is to be careful to such person as Scott Peterson. As one of her lawyer called him.....a wolf in sheep's clothing. Good Inside View of the System

I got very bored with the Scott Peterson drama. I learned to not listen as the nightly news droned on endlessly about the case. As a result I picked up this book to get a quick overall view of the case, as admittedly seen by one person. I'm glad I did. Surprisingly this book says more about life than I was really expecting. Amber Frey is, unfortunately an example of a very large number of women desparately seeking love, companionship, a happy life. The view she presents of her side of a relationship she hoped would provide these things was insightful and sad. After she learned about the true situation with Scott Peterson, she began working with the police. In turn the book becomes an interesting insight into police procedure. As she taped telephone calls and reported to the police. I found myself wondering if the police cared that they were asking this girl to associate with a murderer. Finally the description of the trial itself and the description of the legal system and press reporting was good, but a bit too short. It seems that the system exists to chew up people for the system's own ends, regardless of the effect on people. All in all, I come away hoping that Ms. Frey finds the happiness that I think we all deserve.

Give Amber A Break!

Do you really expect this to be a work of fine literature? Of course not! Is she a Bible thumping tramp? Yes! Did she do the right thing? Yes! So if you want to read HER side of the story then go for it but give her a break because her lack of writing ability just highlights the fact that she is not the sharpest tool in the shed but she tells her story and that's really what I wanted to hear!

Order Only The Enchanced Version Of Amber's New Book

As a Detective, I find this book to be an amazing work of investigative literature. It sheds new light on who may have killed Laci and Conner, the motives for the crime, and the facts behind the Conspiracy. But the reader is urged to order the Enhanced Version in order to get all of the details which may be omitted from the abbreviated initial printing. Then many of the questions that the public has been pondering will be answered, eg:Where is the Chiropractor father of Amber's second illegitamate offspring? What is his relatonship, if any, to Scott Peterson? What did Jacky and Lee know? And when did they know it? Does Jacky prefer Amber, and why?Did Amber really have a breast enhancement? Why? When did this take place, and where? How much did it cost, who paid for it, and was the Chiropractor involved?Who is Janet? Did she have a baby, and is it Scotts? Where are the photographs of Janet? What did Janet know of Laci?Did Amber and Scott meet in a motel room after it became public that there was an affair? Was this motel room in Fresno, and what happened there?Who is the Chiropractor dating now, and is she also having his baby? Where did this Chiropractor do his undergraduate studies? What is the amount of his child support payment to Amber? What are the facts as reported in the Tabloid media about Scott having an oral homosexual encounter in the County facility? Did this occur, and was Scott an active, willing participant, or was he acting out of fear from the threats of a big, strong, beefy, handsome bully? Do any gay encounters continue? Why?Is Amber pregnant with yet another illegimate child, and if so, who might the father be this time?Yes, these are the important topics that a reader should expect to find in the new, enhanced, updated version of Amber's exciting new expose into the "Trial of the Year". I believe it's available to the public, but I'm not certain. I at least hope that it has been written. If not, check the Tabloid section at your local Supermarket.God Bless, and Happy 2005 New Year!******************
