this book gives you a look at what love can do to a person.the book is about a sixteen year old girl named amanda. she goes to paridise, Wyoming to teach school. little does she know that her crush thomas Lewellen is there. She finds a letter of his from his girl and takes it. you have to read the book to find out more.

Great book!

Amanda was angry at her father when he sent her east to get a teaching certificate in Nebraska. She hated to leave the exciting life at the transcontinental railroad campsite-and the 18 year old boy named Thomas she had fallen in love with. Now Amanda has returned, still in love with Thomas...a love that cause her to make a foolish move.
