Excellent horror epic

Well written exciting horror epic. Uncommon theme for a family saga- fab historical fiction with a supernatural theme! From book: Surrounded by the darkest evil, she was a woman possessed.... Absolute Favorite

I read this book as a freshman in high school, and in nine years since then, with an extensive library since, it still remains my favorite. I agree that it should definitely be followed by an equally dynamic sequel, but how can you top perfection? I actually came on line to see if (wonders, wonders) the author ever did create a follow-up. After 12 years, it seems doubtful that there ever will be one. But one can still hope. I would reccommend this book to anyone who feels like they just don't fit in, who loves the thought of religious freedom, and everyone who loves a good story. I picked it up again recently and finished it in less than a day. Trust me, it's just that good.

"Breathtaking"

This book is a must to read especially if you like to read books about witchcraft. I have read this book 3 times already. When you start reading you just can't put this book down. Would be great if the author wrote a sequel to this book.

absolutely spellbinding

I adore this book. I read it when I was 17yrs old for the first time. I have read it 7 more times since then I am now 22. I am not a big reader either but this is one of those books you just can not put down.
