Witch Fury

Sarafina Connell is not having a great day. First she is burying the woman she thinks of as her mother and she had to take time off, empty out her bank account to pay for the services and now needs to hurry home so she can make rent payment arrangements. But the day is going to take another turn to the nasty side when she is kidnapped by one of the worst warlocks around. What would he want with someone like her? Theo Winters and others from the coven are breaking into the warlocks compound to rescue the witches being held against their will. When Theo reaches the room with the head warlock, he is meeting with a female witch with lots of attitude. Theo knows Stephen never meets with the witches, so she must not be one of the good guys and has no pity or friendship for her. Sarafina can't believe that she has had yet another turn of bad luck. These witches that saved her don't believe she was kidnapped. The tide has to turn in her favor soon. While waiting, Sarafina is kept in Theo's quarters, too bad he turns her on so much. Once the truth is discovered and Theo knows beyond a doubt that Sarafina is a good guy, he discovers that danger is still shadowing her as the warlocks are not going to give up and someone even worse wants her. Theo and Sarafina have just discovered their passion is a shared one. When a plan is worked out to finally defeat Stephen and the warlocks, will Theo be able to deal with it or is this going to be another block between him and Sarafina. A fire witch who doesn't have a clue can make things get hot fast. Witch Fury finally tells Theo's happy ending. I was hoping that he would get one. Theo has trouble believing in Sarafina's innocence because she was found with Stephen. Sarafina is being given a crash course on how to become a witch, whether she wants to find out or not. The friction between Theo and Sarafina was immediate even if it wasn't the passionate or friendly type to begin with, but then again she is a fire witch. I just knew Sarafina was the perfect match to Theo just because she was so feisty and would not back down - rather like him. While I'm sorry that we have reached the end of the elements, Ms. Bast saved the best for last. The final battle had me on the edge of my seat wondering who would come out on the other side. Stephen's defeat and judgment were perfect for such a nasty man. I cheered as I read it. Witch Fury is spicy and funny sometimes even together with enough danger to peak your survivor instinct. The Elemental Witches is a keeper series that I plan on pulling out over and over again. Lastly while gathering information for this review, I discovered a free e-book on Ms. Bast's site. It is a short story with Micah's resolution called Micah's Magick. Of course I promptly downloaded it and read it and was delighted to see yet another favorite witch get his happy ending. However I must stress that you need to wait and read it after you have finished Witch Fury as t

Elemental Witch series

Again, my sister has this series and let me borrow what she had. I got hooked and had to order this one. Gave it to my sister when I finished for her set. Can't wait for more to come out.

Witch Fury by Anya Bast by twolips reviews.com

Sarafina Connell cannot believe the incredibly awful turn her life has taken over the past week. Facing certain eviction, she leaves her small Chicago apartment and returns to Kentucky to bury the only person who's ever cared for her. Meeting her friends as they express their sympathies is bittersweet; she knows she can never come back to live here after being the town's pariah. While getting ready to leave, Stefan Faucheux appears in her apartment, abducting her to join the evil Duskoff cabal. The Coven is aware of her and sends in its best witches to free her. Which faction will Sarafina choose as she comes into her powers? Anya Bast closes her Elemental Witch quadrilogy, tying in all her story arcs within Witch Fury. The tone of Witch Fury is the darkest of all Ms. Bast's stories, since the pivotal battle for witch supremacy between the Duskoff and Coven forces takes place. Sarafina isn't aware at first that she's a powerful fire witch who is to play an important role in this epic fight. She's always wondered why she's been different and getting enlightened by Stefan makes her decision easy. Theo is assigned to protect and train Sarafina to acquire her fire skills quickly. He's no stranger to Duskoff cruelty, having survived their brutality as a young witch. Theo has withdrawn into himself, never forming lasting romantic commitments due to the past. Sarafina changes something within him, getting him to feel again. Knowing it's wrong because any woman who's become emotionally invested winds up dead, Sarafina works to change his mind. Sarafina's naturally vibrant personality helps Theo to come out of his shell, interacting more with all the members of the Coven family. I loved the way Anya Bast closes Witch Fury as she updates us on all the previous characters, providing a happy ending to this awful time in the Coven's history.

Witch Ecstatic

This book 4... read them in order so the story can build... I both the first book to do a buy 3 get 1 special... LOVED IT!! Now have all 4 and anxiously waiting for whatever she puts out next. Great story, sexy, fast paced and funny all in one :)

excellent finish to a strong saga

After watching the woman attend the funeral of her foster mother, Duskoff International CEO Stefan Faucheux kidnaps the grieving Sarafina Connell and her dog Gossett. He insists she is a fire witch; she laughs at him thinking a madman has abducted her. However, his assertion has her thinking back to when her insane biological mom died in a fire. A coven led by earth witch Theo Winters storms Faucheaux's compound. They take Sarafina with them as their prisoner. Theo and his cohorts assume she is in cahoots with the vile CEO. Sarafina informs her hosts that her former host had Bai an Atrika demon with him. The coven panics because Bai should never have been able to cross the barrier between the mortal and demon realms while also wondering why they are interested in Sarafina. Theo knows deep in his gut why he is interested in Sarafina besides her connection to Faucheux though he denies it even to himself. The final Elemental Witches urban romantic fantasy (see WITCH HEART, WITCH FIRE, and WITCH BLOOD) is an excellent finish to a strong saga. The story line is action packed from just after Sarafina buries her foster mother and never slows down as the major strings (mostly paranormal) from the previous three tales are tied up nicely. Though newcomers would be better off starting with the previous novels to better understand the overarching plot that WITCH FURY closes, Anya Bast is at her best with the final Elemental Witch thriller.
