Good Fundamentals

I used this book as a psych resident starting out doing psychotherapy. It is great. Easy to read (mostly), easy to understand and gives basic fundamentals. The vignettes are great.

This book is very well written and organized. It is easily understood by the non-professional who is seeking to gain a greater understanding of the therapy process
