"Tristan of Brackenmoore was desperate...If a bouquet of forget-me-nots could but make the Lady Lily Gray remember what they'd once shared, Tristan would have gathered the flowers from beneath the winter snow. But his one true love had no memory of their time together, nor the babe she'd borne.Though Lily's past seemed locked behind an unbreachable door, Lord Tristan claimed to hold the key. And though she could not remember him, something drew her to him with a strength she could not deny. Yet could she trust him enough to help her face whatever terrors had stolen her memories?"The write-up on the back cover did little to betray what would be found between the covers. This book was terrific! The characters were complex enough to believe in them and the story baseline was intriguing. I read this book in two days, it was so hard to put down. The love scenes are not too graphically descriptive, however tell enough to get your heart pumping. I can't wait to continue reading the other 3 novels that follow. The Ainsworth brothers are as captivating as the women who love them!
One of a kind

I was skeptical when reading the first chapter on whether it would be an interesting book but as I read 2 and 3 I couldn't put it down. I fell in love with the main characters (Tristan and Lily), and I have not found any other characters like these two who could possibly make love such a powerful thing. This book is a keeper!

Never having read a book by this author before, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The book was an easy read, and the storyline enjoyable. The characters are solid, but the heroine Lily's actions at the beginning of the book are a bit hard to believe. However, she does get improve by the middle of the book. This is book 1 in a series of 4. I enjoyed the book enough that'll I'll read the next 3 in the series when they are available.
