My favorite book as a child

This was my favorite book when I was a little girl! I believe I received it from a book club (not positive) and I just adored it. Now that I have two little girls of my own I have been in search of this book to read to them. So glad that I found it here!

EXCELLENT CHILDREN'S BOOK...WELL DONE!

This is probably one of the better children's books to come out of the 1970s. It is quite reminiscent of a cross between the Three Little Pigs and the Chicken Little Story. The black and white illustrations are beautiful and the lesson learned having to do with working together, are hard to beat. Text is quite readable and the illustrations follow the story line quite well. This is one that is fun to read to the class as it creates a lot of discussion. Recommend this one highly.
