Endearing depiction of a little boy's vivid imagination

This is a great book that shows how wonderfully children use their imagination in play. The story is simple, so little ones can grasp, yet even adults are pulled in by the "the brave cowboy's" adventures. The illustrations uniquely enhance the story by depicting the boy's imaginings in red, while reality is drawn in black. I believe this is one of the greatest books for children of all ages!
