Sweet tales for children

Your children will adore these books, and you will delight in the nostalgia and beauty of the illustrations. This is a book worth having in your personal library.

I’d less than one star if I could

The book arrived in a poly plastic bag with no inner protection for the hard back inside it is the wrong jacket, and the book is in poor condition where it was listed in good condition I will expect a full refund, including the return fee

Store label causes damage

I love this book and was so excited for it come today. I had reasonable expectations as to the condition it would be in given its age. The disappointment was that your label on book jacket does not remove without completely damaging the spine of the book jacket. Please don’t do this. Or find labels that do not damage the book.

Flashback!

I loved Winnie-the-Pooh as a child and raised my three sons on his stories and adventures too. So excited to get this book with all the classic tales that I will one day share with my grandchildren.

Pretty Good Shape for an Acceptable Condition Twenty Year Old Book

This was one of my favorites when I was a kid, and now my kids are of the age where they can read it as well. If I let them.

I did not receive the edition that was described.

I was very much looking forward to The Complete Tales of Winnie the Pooh for my daughter but instead received a small baby type book with only small portions of the tales. Meant for very little ones. Will give my copy away.

Be careful on this quality

Quality not as described and I am pretty disappointed. The entire book is covered in water spots and some random dark spots. I would not call that "good" quality. I will go back to Amazon books for sure.

An Escape From the Real World -- (written by my sister).

This book is good for kids and adults. It is a great way to escape from the daily depressions in our world news. Unlike other books, it provides a fun, innocent adventure that still has the appeal to people of all ages. After a hard day, this book allows you to forget all bad - there is no evil, there is no wrong. highly recommended!

Illustrated in color and black & white by E.H. Shepard

The World of Pooh is better read aloud. Milne's characters are charming and lovable. Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends are alive in this book every time I read it, and Shepard's illustrations are so pleasing. I've read these stories so many times and still each time I can hardly wait to find out what adventures Pooh and his friends will have.

Oh Bother! The Best Winnie The Pooh!

This is the best version of Pooh. Not the contaminated Disney version by any means. This is the pure bear of little brain. This particular version is enhanced by full color paintings by Mr Shephard which will knock your socks off!
