This is a wonderful children's book. Any child who loves Winnie the Pooh, or even just a heart-warming Christmas story would enjoy this book. It's a little long to keep a kid's attention if they have trouble staying focues for about 5-8 minutes, but most of the kids I read this to (in a Kindergarten class) stayed with it the whole time. As always, Pooh is Pooh, forgetting then remembering just about everything, including Christmas presents for his friends! He goes to Christopher Robin, who gives him stockings to give the other animals from the Hundred-Acre Woods. Pooh delivers them, then returns home to try to think of something to put IN the stockings. Unfortunately, he falls asleep before he thinks of anything. But the next morning, Christmas morning, all of his friends (Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Gopher and Eyore) all tell him how much they love their present! Each one has thought up something to use the stocking for that only they could think of.I hope if you get this book, you and your child or children enjoy it!
