Windows

Written as a series of 'windows' into the thought of a handful of central characters, a story unfolds of love, deception, double-dealing and fierce loyalty. As 1899 becomes 1900, Joshua has been branded as the village simpleton, Jessica and her mother Brigette seem destined for the workhouse, Lucy is posing as a maid to hide from a murderous gang and Agnes has a plan to claim what she believes to be her rightful due. What could possibly go wrong?
