Drenched with adventure

This guy might seem crazy for his scrapes with death and injury, but I finally got what he was talking about in his Prologue "Risking for your life". It's a really personal story of his growth that comes across with excitement in spades to the reader. There are 100 mph storms, a sinking and funny stuff to boot. Plus, I thought it was interesting how the traditional life of an Alaskan commercial fisherman is being affected by globalization. But in the end I felt there is still hope for that lifestyle, partly because his fisheries are very well managed.Pretty cool hearing from a guy who's been there and back, and can write about it well. He left me feeling drenched and appreciating his work.
