A book of two medical approach- Chinese and Mayan

This is one of a kind in the comparison between Mayan tradition medicine and those of Chinese in their similarity. This is a translation work from Spanish. The chapters are arranged in the order of human relation with the cosmos, human body, causality and illness, diagnostics, therapeutics, traditional health workers, evolution of traditional medicine and conclusions. The appendix highlights the disease classification of organic and spiritual illnesses. Chapters elaborate the two in their cultural understanding of illness and treatment in herbs, massage, acupuncture, and others. The treatment is to bring back the balance and harmony of the physical body. Mayan tradition borrows many Chinese terms such as tuchi, jup and dien tien. As TCM theory is based on the philosophy of Taoism, it is a treasure in developing in this alternative treatment, much different from the western medicine. It is beneficial to keep country folks healthy in an efficient and effective way, away from the slavery of western health insurance system. The most powerful medicine is in your own mind in dispensing the cure dose – healing of the mind. One does not need the pastor, insurance agent, medical doctor as Jesus said your faith heals you. In the Covid19 pandemic, Americans still debate on mask and vaccination, a very simple medical issue turns into political foolish, unwise leading cause of death! They still believe in voodoo magic even the president! Enjoy reading this book. A basic question, who brings TCM to Mayan people? Is it the Ming famous Muslim navigator, Zhang He before the Great Geography Discovery?
