The latest in the "To Die" series. Continuing from Expecting to Die". Pescoli is on maternity leave and still hasn't made the decision to come back to the force or not. Her sister is murdered and she's inserted herself into the investigation when her niece becomes a prime suspect. Jumping from Montana to California to Montana with different players and clues leading Pescoli to wonder who really killed her sister. A few twists but overall not as exciting as the other books in the series
