Will The Real Women Please Stand Up

I've been reading some of the reviews written about this book and I must admit I was quite surprised to see that some women just don't get it. I am a man who enjoys and respects all women and I found this book to be very informative and eye-opening. I read the book in two days and I also read where Ms. Patterson stated she interviewed over 7000 women for this book. So why are so many women taking it personal. It's a must read for all women. Why because it down to earth, truthful and very candid. Women need to stop trying to hide their feelings and listen to Ms. Patterson. Just be yourself and accept those things that you like and don't do what you don't like. Keep an open mind ladies and try not to judge a book by it's cover. Open your mind and learn what the book is really saying. Stop being so self-centered and taking everything you read as an opinion of you. I recommend this book to all women that I know. My mom, my three sisters and my daughter.

Will The Real Women Please Stand Up

I read the hard cover about 3 years ago, so after reading it I gave it to my wife. Boy what a change it has made in my life and my wife's life. We have learned to communicate instaed of shout at one another. I've tried to be more passionate and loving with my wife since I've red this book. It has opened my eyes to how valuable communication is in a loving relationship. Until I read this bnook I always just let things in my relationship work themselves out. I now know that many of my problems could have been avoided if I had only communictaed in an open, honest and loving way. Thanks to Ella Patterson and her will to write a book like this, I am now a happier man, husband and father. I recommend this book to all couples. It's not just a book for women it's for men too. I don't know Ella personally, but If she ever reads this review I just want to say Thanks to her for helping to save my marriage. I am a better man because of her.

Great Book

I enjoyed all three versions of this book. I have each of them. I bought the unedited copy, the hard back and the paperback. I can see where some people don't get it. The book is probaly too deep for the lady in Louisianna who wrote the bad review. I've been invited to at least eighteen girls nights out and this book was always the topic of conversation. Women just can't seem to put it down. You know why, because it tells the truth about what real women really want to know. So for all the closed minded, inhibited and negative people who can't open their minds...I say get a life. This book has been passed around at my office and no one ever wants to give it back. We love it and will read it again and again and again. Thanks. Oh by the way I saw Ella on Vibe too, and I didn't get the impression that she couldn't talk. There was a group of us watching and we felt that she helped inform us. If you don't have naything nice to say don't say anything.

I feel this book should be every women's self-esteem Bible. I read it over and over just for some refreshening.

''Will The Real Women Please Stand Up''was a very interesting novel for females in the 90's to read.It was a females perspective of what she get from men,how she feel about the men she's dated,the joyful locations and positions of sex,and also about female hygiene.The book was about a very confident,courageous black female who wanted to share her feelings with other females today.THe book was not meant for a man to buy unless he really cares what a female thinks about him.The author HAS VERY HIGH SELF ESTEEM.
