Passed all 4 on first try - used only this series for review.

I was very impressed by the comprehensiveness of the material. No warm fuzzies - the writing is dry and technical, and much of it is in outline form. But it is all there and it gets the job done. I took all 4 tests in Feb. 2009 and spent 3-7 days studying for each one. Excellent prep material if you can focus well.

Good review book

I have read almost half of that and feel it is really a good review book, especialy to the people with some accounting experience. Good and comprehensive summary, plain language, tons of practice make me easier to grasp the idea. Since the book is just a summary of auditing, it is better to finish your accounting units or have some accounting experience before taking this review.

Best thing I did

I thought this review book was more than enough to prepare me to pass the AUD section of the CPA exam. I didn't take any review courses, just read the book and went over all the MC questions and simulations. Would definitely recommend, especially since it's so much cheaper than taking a review course.

CPA Exam

This is exactly what I needed, a book with all kinds of possible questions to help me practice for the exam.

Bar none, THE best review program for the CPA exam

The format of this CPA exam review set is designed better than the other programs that I have seen (Gleim, Kaplan, Barron's) and provides more comprehensive and all-encompassing exposure to the material that you will see on the four sections of the exam. Most other review sets only contain multiple-choice questions, full-length practice exams, and/or short dissertations on the various subjects. That is not enough to sufficiently prepare you for the various subjects and question formats that you will see when taking the exam. In these books, the subjects are organized logically into modules, and in each module you will see outlines and detailed reviews of the subject matter, followed by multiple-choice, sets of "matching" or similarly formatted questions, and essay questions, complete with detailed answers and analysis to each and every question. Even though those questions taken from actual exams are somewhat older, the practice questions given in these books are very close to what you will see in "battle" conditions. Also, with the CPA Exam becoming computerized in the next couple years, Wiley now offers the CD-ROM version of this review program.Bottom line, if you are truly committed to passing this exam, you should buy this 4-volume set of review books from Wiley. I should know. I bought the 2000 version, followed Delaney's suggestions, and passed all four parts of the exam in my first attempt last November, by sizable margins.
