Great start for a spin off series!

I love the Chicagoland Vampire series. In this spin off the author does a great job of getting you outside of Chicago by playing on the long awaited and hinted on prophecy of the head of the Chicago Vampire's daughter and the top supreme Alpha of all werewolves in North America's son. Accepting their fates and walking their own path to their destiny. They have their own set of challenges both desperate and jointly that they have to get through. In a world where being different means staying with your own kind. Even if there's no one else in the world like you.
